Colorado Republican legislative leaders will conduct a statewide tour titled “Save!, Don’t Spend” in, of all things, a gas-guzzling recreational vehicle.The tour will promote a plan to put Colorado back on track by creating a rainy day fund for tough economic times and taking steps to keep government living within its means, the group said in a press release.The tour will stop in Colorado Springs at noon at the local GOP headquarters, 4525 Northpark Drive.HBA likes LambornThe Housing and Building Association of Colorado Springs has endorsed Lamborn for Congress.The Lamborn campaign said the HBA said it was looking forward to working with Lamborn on issues such as the creation of jobs, the expansion of Fort Carson, the completion of the Southern Delivery System water pipeline and working to control government regulation to the detriment of affordable housing.Purging OK, AG saysSecretary of State Mike Coffman released a Colorado Attorney General’s Office opinion Tuesday saying it was OK to cancel duplicate voter records within 90 days of a federal election.The analysis was prompted by an Oct. 9 story in the New York Times, which questioned the counties’ ability to cancel voters within this 90-day window.”The opinion from the attorney general protects the integrity of the election process and ensures each voter receives one ballot,” Coffman said in a release.Coffman said Colorado voters can verify their voter registration information at www.GoVoteColorado.com.Expensive drinkHave a drink and chat with Senate candidate Mark Udall at Tony’s, 311 N.
