Help the city of Manitou Springs recover financially from the weekend fire evacuation by spending some cash there Wednesday — thus creating a so-called “cash mob.”

The mob will meet at noon at Soda Springs Park, 354 Manitou Ave., but shopping, eating and playing is encouraged throughout the day.

Due to limited parking, organizers encourage shoppers to ride share whenever possible.
