The 21st Space Wing will host a Pikes Peak area Retiree Appreciation Day and information fair on Saturday, July 28th from 8am to 2pm in The Club on Peterson AFB.

This year’s theme is “Volunteers in our Community – Saying Thanks.”

The opening ceremony is scheduled for 8 a.m., and a free continental breakfast, appetizers and lunch will be provided.Information booths regarding TRICARE changes, benefits and mission briefs, local happenings and guest speakers will be open until 2 p.m.A military working dog demonstration is scheduled, and the U.S. Air Force Academy Band Wild Blue Country will provide music during the event.

The event is open to all members of the community with base access, but is designed to benefit our thousands of retirees in the local area most.
