Rocky Mountain Pediatric Dentistry is once again trying to save kids’ teeth while showing support for deployed U.S. Military.

The dentist’s office at 6071 E. Woodmen Rd., Suite 200 is offering a Halloween candy buy back for the second year in a row. Rocky Mountain will pay kids $1 for every pound of candy they bring into the office Nov. 1, 2, 4 or 5.

All collected candy will be donated to Operation Gratitude, which sends care packages to members of the military deployed in hostile regions around the world.

Chelsea Murphy, of Rocky Mountain Pediatric Dentistry, said every kid who sells back their candy will have their name put in a drawing for the chance to win gift cards or other prizes.

Murphy said the program not only will help give thanks to U.S. troops, but will help ensure dental health for kids in the Pikes Peak region.

“There’s some candy that just isn’t good for kids teeth, that sticky gooey candy,” she said.

Kids can sell back their candy from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the four days of the program.
