CC not taking St. Cloud lightly
(PUEBLO, CO — August 15, 2012) The Annual Colorado State Fair Parade will take place Saturday, August 25th, at 10:00 a.m. beginning on Colorado and Abriendo Avenue. The Colorado State Fair Parade is one of the oldest parades in Colorado and is coordinated by the Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce and its State Fair Parade Committee.
The theme for the 2012 parade is “Colorado: Colors of Courage”. The theme is in honor of America’s Iraq war veterans and a welcome home celebration for all who have served. The parade offers Colorado a chance to thank our service members for their sacrifice in Iraq.
The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that Iraq war veterans will serve as Parade Marshals for the 2012 Colorado State Fair Parade. The Colorado State Fair Parade Committee would like to encourage Colorado’s residents to come together in Pueblo to show appreciation for these brave men and women.
Approximately 40,000 spectators are estimated to attend the parade. The parade will follow its normal route beginning on Colorado and Abriendo Avenue, down Union Avenue to Main Street, down Main Street concluding on 8th Street.
