Y96.9 is bringing Rodney Atkins and Andy Gibson to Colorado Springs on Friday July 27th as part of the downtown Olympic celebration that goes from 4-10pm.Tejon St. will be blocked off for the FREE concert as part of the Olympic kick off celebration! This event will be to raise money for the “Battle The Blaze” fund for local fire departments and first responders of the Waldo Canyon fire.

The “Battle the Blaze Fund” is a special fund that has been established by the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb to support the many local fire, police, and other various departments that provided aid to the Colorado Springs and Woodland Park communities during the recent Waldo Canyon Fire.
