The former Army Ranger who had threatened to kill his fiancee, her boyfriend and himself turned himself in about 7:30 p.m. Monday, Colorado Springs police say.

Joint Base Lewis McChord in Washington state, where the former Ranger is stationed, informed Springs about 3 a.m. Tuesday that Joshua Daner had turned himself in.

Fort Carson police were told to inform the ex-fiancee that Daner had done so, police say.

It wasn’t immediately clear where Daner turned himself in. Springs police say they will release additional information Tuesday morning.

Police say Daner was seen in Denver around midnight Sunday.
