According to the Home Legacy Group at Coldwell Banker 1st Choice Realty, 96 homes sold in April in Teller County and Ute Pass. In Woodland Park, of 32 homes sold, the highest-priced was $1.3 million, the lowest, $265,000. In Divide, of 7 homes sold, the highest-priced was $606,000, the lowest, $300,000. In Florissant, of 14 homes sold, the highest-priced was $780,000, the lowest, $251,000. In the Cripple CreekVictor area, of 8 homes sold, the highest-priced was $550,000, the lowest, $185,000. In Ute Pass, of 5 homes sold, the highest-priced was $625,000, the lowest, $113,000.
Cripple Creek Narrow Gauge Railroad and Ames Construction were the gold sponsors of the fundraising gala at the Chamonix Hotel and Casino last week. Hosted by Community of Caring Foundation, the event was a fundraiser for A Place for Kids, a childcare facility expected to open next year. The Chamonix. Golden Nugget and Craig and Jessica Nelson’s Alpine Vista were silver sponsors; Triple Crown was a bronze sponsor; Johnny Nolon’s, Colorado Grande and Century casinos were copper sponsors.
Common Grounds, the coffee shop at the Aspen Mine Center, in Cripple Creek, donated a quarter pound of its special blend, A Place for Kids, to guets of the gala the evening of June 2.
