More tenants have been revealed for the Target-anchored Legacy at Jackson Landing shopping center.
Target’s involvement in the development was reported by The Tribune in November.
KKTV cited Monument Mayor Mitch LaKind in reporting that other planned tenants included Marshalls, HomeGoods, Chick-fil-A and Firehouse Subs. The project developer, Legacy Development partners, is working to fill other storefronts.
The center is hoping to open in October 2027.
Talk with the Town
The next Talk with the Town event will be held May 12 at Monument Town Hall.
“Join us for our next Talk with the Town,” a facebook post said. “We will also be welcoming special guest, Steve Schleiker, Clerk and Recorder with El Paso County.”
Cops and Bobbers
The Monument Police Department will be hosting its 2nd annual Cops and Bobbers event on June 20 at Monument Lake.
“This is a fantastic opportunity for kids to spend a morning on the water, learn some fishing tips, and get to know the officers serving our community,” the event Facebook post says. “We’ll be handing out awards for various categories, so bring your lucky tackle box and your best casting arm. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or picking up a rod for the first time, we can’t wait to see you there.”
