In full bloom
An open house will be held for Woodland Park’s community garden, which is located in the lawn at town hall at 220 W. South Avenue.
Community Partnership and the city will host “In Full Bloom: A garden celebration” on Sept. 11 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.
The garden features 35 beds and between 500-700 plants. It took 35 tons of soil, donated seeds and a lot of volunteers to make the magic happen.
Some of the beds are for vegetables that will be donated to the food pantry.
Creek Week
The 2025 Creek Week cleanup will be held on Oct. 4 to help clean and beautify the Woodland Park section of Fountain Creek.
“Join the Keep Woodland Park Beautiful committee for the largest watershed-wide clean-up effort in the state of Colorado,” says an announcement on the City of Woodland park Government Facebook page.
Volunteers will meet at 8 a.m. at Cavalier Park. Registration is required.
Night at the Library
The rampart Library District will host its fundraiser, a Night at the Library, on Oct. 4 from 5-7:30 p.m. at the Woodland Park library.
Attire is vintage 1920s (or just come as you are). There will be hors d’ouevres, booze and bedlam, music and mayhem plus a fine art show and sale.
Purchase tickets online or in person at the library.
