Teresa Cunniff, owner of home-based Audi Sweet Creations, and business partner Brandon Curry have opened The Dessert Plug, 207 W. Rockrimmon Blvd. A grand opening is planned for early April. This is definitely the place to tap into for a sweet fix.
The Dessert Plug’s location was formerly the home to The Enchanted Barista.
“We have a vast array of exotic candies and soft drinks from around the world,” said Cunniff. “I’m getting candies from Japan, Germany, China, Indonesia, Mexico and the U.K. We also have freshly made daily desserts, rolled ice cream, novelty ice cream treats, smoothies, cakes, pies and soft serve ice cream.”
Because the coffee machine from The Enchanted Barista was left behind, Cunniff is making a menu of espresso beverages too. She is offering custom orders for all sizes and types of sweet treats.
“We will do private events and birthday parties in store or we can come to you at your event with our mobile ice cream and treats van,” she said.
Hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 8 a.m.-10-p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Details: 719-960-6925, thedessertplug719 on Instagram.
